The detachable spiral plate heat exchanger is formed by rolling two parallel thin steel plates, forming a pair of spiral flow channels that are separated from each other. The cold and hot fluids flow in two channels separated by a spiral plate as the heat transfer surface. A channel spacer is welded between the two plates to maintain the distance between the channels and also increase the stiffness of the spiral plate. A central partition plate is installed in the center of the heat exchanger to separate the two spiral channels. There are cover plates or heads welded at the top and bottom, as well as inlet and outlet pipes for two fluids. Generally, one pair of inlet and outlet is located on the circumferential edge (the connecting pipe can be tangential or radial), while the other pair is located on the axis. The end section can be welded and closed at both ends of one channel, while the other channel is not welded. 9. Precautions for the operation of detachable spiral plate heat exchanger
(1) When the steam stripping is stopped, the temperature on both sides of the inlet and outlet slurry of the heat exchanger should be below 40 ℃.
(2) The spiral plate heat exchanger should be used in accordance with the specified requirements to avoid damage.
(3) After the large covers at both ends of the detachable heat exchanger are removed, high-pressure water cannot be used to flush the heat exchanger, as this will seriously damage the heat exchanger.
